Rishab Aggarwal
Rishab Agarwall is a 4th year, B.A.LL.B. (Hons.) student at Gujarat National Law University (GNLU), India. Hailing from Ludhiana, Punjab, he comes from a middle-class, nuclear family consisting of his father, who is a service man, his mother, who is a housewife and his sister who is an eighth standard school student. The view from his terrace shows a minaret at distance, then a temple, also a Gurudwara behind and a church on the other side. Growing up amidst such cultural diversity, the study of cultures and their interface is of interest to him. Having interned under Senior Advocate Gopal Sankaranarayanan and with firms like Nishith Desai Associates and Vaish Law Associates, he has gained multi- faceted experience in researching in constitutional as well as corporate law. He was declared the Best Student Advocate at 4th Symbiosis International Criminal Trial Advocacy Competition, 2019. He is presently the Managing Editor of the GNLU Student Law Review, Editor of the Gujarat Law Journal. He was also the campus ambassador of Internshala and content creator for Legal Bites, two prominent online platforms for students in India. He has an interest in Human Rights Law as well as Dispute Resolution, which is reflected in his publications centred on human rights violations, contractual and commercial issues.
