Prasad Hegde

Prasad Hegde is a final-year B.B.A. LL.B. student at Gujarat National Law University, India. He hails from a remote town in the state of Karnataka in India although he grew up in the city of Hyderabad. He still fondly remembers his days as a young kid where he used to play cricket in his diverse and multi-cultural neighbourhood. Being with the companionship of friends from different religious and cultural backgrounds, he was always delighted to visit his friends for all kinds of festivals ranging from Lohri to Eid and to Christmas. After joining law school, his internships under eminent advocates and senior advocates exposed him to various issues concerning religion, culture, traditions and law and the interface between them. He is deeply fascinated by such issues. In the future, he wishes to embark on a career in litigation and advocacy and assist people in protecting their cultural and legal rights.
