Dr Christiane Besnier is responsible for the quantitative and qualitative data-collection in France. She holds a Ph.D. in Ethnology and Comparative Sociology. Université René Descartes, Paris – Sorbonne (2005). She is Editor in Chief and Managing Director of the Review Droit et Cultures (Law and Cultures), CNRS, Editions L’Harmattan, Université Paris Nanterre. (2015 – Present). She is also Researcher in Cultural Anthropology at Sorbonne, Université Paris Descartes. (2008–Present). Her most recent book is La vérité côté cour.
