She has been for two\nyears associate fellow at the Maison&nbsp;Fran\u00e7aise of Oxford.&nbsp;The topic\nof her research deals with a better understanding&nbsp;of the&nbsp;European\npast, thanks to the lessons of legal anthropology. Soazick\u2019s main&nbsp;topic\nfocuses on&nbsp;the&nbsp;process of acculturation in the Late Roman Empire,\nthe&nbsp;legal distortion caused&nbsp;by the contact between Roman law and\ntribal customs.&nbsp;Due to her double training in law and legal&nbsp;history,\nshe works together with&nbsp;lawyers, historians and anthropologists\nand&nbsp;promotes an interdisciplinary research on a broad range of issues\nranging from&nbsp;legal anthropology to the history of&nbsp;European Law.
